What there is around La Santa

The resort faces a calm saltwater lagoon used for watersports, with the open Atlantic beyond. The village of La Santa next to it is small and quiet, with a few restaurants and one of the island's best-known surf breaks, El Quemao, for experienced surfers only. To the south lie the lava fields of Timanfaya National Park, and the roads of the area are popular with cyclists training on the island.
