Getting around Lanzarote from the airport

Lanzarote is small and the airport sits right in the middle of its east coast, so no ride is long. Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen are a quarter of an hour away, Costa Teguise and Puerto Calero about twenty minutes, and Playa Blanca, the furthest resort in the south, around forty. The north takes a little longer: Haría and Órzola are 45 to 50 minutes away along the coast road.

Roads are good and well signposted, but after a flight most people would rather not think about them. With a taxi booked in advance you know the fare before you travel, the driver is waiting when you come out and nobody else shares the vehicle. For families with child seats, groups with lots of luggage or anyone landing late at night, it is usually the easiest way to start the holiday.

Can you take me somewhere that is not on your list?

Absolutely: we cover the whole island. If your hotel or villa is not among our destinations, email or WhatsApp us the address and we will quote you a fixed fare.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Nothing you need to do: we follow your flight and your driver adjusts to the new landing time. The first hour after landing is free. If baggage reclaim takes longer, we get in touch to see how you are doing and keep waiting until you come out.

Do child and baby seats cost extra?

No, they are free. By law every child, babies included, has to be booked as a passenger, and we fit the right seat for each one at no cost.

How can I cancel my taxi?

Open "My booking" with your booking number and email and ask for the cancellation there, or write to us. Cancelling up to 24 hours before the pick-up is free, and we refund the full amount to the payment method you used.
