Montaña Blanca is a small village in the centre of Lanzarote, at the foot of the volcano that gives it its name. It has no hotels or beach: it is a quiet place of white houses, holiday villas and rural homes with gardens, many of them with views across the plain towards the coast. Visitors choose it for peace, space and a central position from which the whole island is within reach.

What there is around Montaña Blanca

The village itself is small, with very little traffic. Walkers climb the mountain behind it for wide views over the island, from the coast to the volcanoes of Timanfaya. A short drive away are the Monumento al Campesino, César Manrique's tribute to the island's farmers, the vineyards and wineries of La Geria, and the beaches and restaurants of Puerto del Carmen, about ten minutes down the road.
