1. Who we are and scope of these terms
These terms govern bookings of transfers made through this website and the other versions of Canaries Transfers for other countries and languages. The seller is Hanane Elmrrouchi Zizi, Spanish ID number (DNI) 60981973A, with address at Avenida Escaleritas 132, 2.º B, 35011 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Las Palmas (España), trading as Canaries Transfers (hereinafter "we"). Contact: booking@canariestransfers.com · +34 634 19 90 10.
By making a booking, the customer confirms that they are of legal age and accepts these terms, which they can save or print from this page.
2. The service
- We offer private transfers between Lanzarote Airport (ACE) and the customer's accommodation on the island: one way to or from the airport, or return. The vehicle is for the customer's group only and its size depends on the number of passengers.
- The price is per vehicle, not per person, and includes IGIC (Canary Islands tax), standard luggage (one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger) and, if requested when booking, child seats. Special luggage (bikes, surfboards, golf bags, wheelchairs or mobility scooters) must be added as an extra.
- For arrivals, the driver waits in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing the customer's name and tracks the flight to adapt to its actual arrival time.
- Transfers are carried out by duly licensed transport companies we work with. We organise and sell the service and are the customer's point of contact.
3. Booking
- Online bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance, for pick-ups between 07:00 and 21:00 (Canary Islands time). For other cases, the customer can contact us using our contact details.
- The customer must provide correct and complete details: name, email and phone number, arrival flight number, dates and times, accommodation, total number of passengers (including children and babies) and extras. The customer is responsible for the consequences of incorrect or incomplete details.
- The booking remains pending payment until payment is completed. Once paid, the customer receives an email confirmation with their booking reference, which they can also see in "Manage my booking".
- A booking can also be started through artificial intelligence assistants connected to our website. In that case the same terms apply, and the booking is only confirmed once the customer pays for it on our payment page.
4. Price and payment
- Prices are set in euros and include IGIC. Some sites show and charge prices in the local currency (for example, pounds sterling or Swiss francs), converted at the European Central Bank reference rate plus a margin. The amount is fixed when the booking is made and is the amount charged.
- Payment is made online and in advance, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and the other methods offered on the payment page depending on the country and device. Some methods only charge in euros, which is shown before paying.
- Payments are processed by secure payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). We do not have access to full card details.
- We issue an invoice for every paid booking.
5. Customer obligations
- Be at the pick-up point at the agreed time. For departures, we recommend setting the pick-up time with enough margin to reach the airport as early as the airline requires.
- Tell us as soon as possible about any change of flight, time, accommodation or number of passengers.
- Follow the safety and vehicle rules, including the use of child seats required by law.
6. Changes to a booking
The customer can ask for changes (date, time, flight, accommodation or passengers) from "Manage my booking" or by email. Changes are subject to availability and are not applied until we confirm them. If the new number of passengers needs a larger vehicle, we will state the price difference, which must be paid for the change to be applied. If the group fits a smaller vehicle, the price paid does not change unless we decide to refund the difference.
7. Cancellation by the customer
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the pick-up time of each transfer: the full price of that transfer is refunded.
- Cancellations made within the 24 hours before pick-up and no-shows are not refunded.
- In return bookings, each transfer can be cancelled separately.
- Cancellations are requested from "Manage my booking" or by email. Refunds are made to the same payment method and may take 5 to 10 working days to show, depending on the customer's bank.
8. Cancellation or changes on our side
If we cannot provide a transfer for reasons attributable to us, or due to force majeure (for example, weather, road or airport closures, or decisions of the authorities), we will refund in full the transfers not provided or offer an alternative that the customer may accept or refuse.
9. Right of withdrawal
Under Article 103(l) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users), the right of withdrawal does not apply to transport services provided on a specific date or within a specific period. The free cancellation policy in section 7 applies instead.
10. Liability
We are liable for the proper provision of the service booked, as required by law. We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect details given by the customer, by the customer being late or not showing up at the pick-up point, or by force majeure. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law grants to consumers.
11. Communications
We will send the confirmation, reminders and any notice about the booking to the email address given by the customer. We may also contact the customer by phone or WhatsApp to arrange the transfer or to help them.
12. Complaints
The customer can send any complaint to booking@canariestransfers.com, quoting their booking reference. We will reply as soon as possible and in any case within one month. Official complaint forms are also available on request through the same channels.
13. Language, governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are written in Spanish, which is the binding version. Translations into other languages are offered as a courtesy. The contract is governed by Spanish law. Customers who are consumers may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence; otherwise, the courts of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will have jurisdiction.
